Match the fitting to the pipe requirement

ASTM A106 is a seamless carbon steel pipe specification, not a finished fitting material specification. Define the required fitting separately from the adjoining pipe.

Identify the approved fitting specification

For a butt-weld enquiry, a material such as ASTM A234 WPB may be considered by the responsible engineer, but it is not an automatic substitute for every application. Forged, low-temperature or other service requirements need their own approved specification. State the piping design basis, service conditions, fitting geometry, end sizes, thicknesses, construction and inspection scope.

Send the approved piping material class, drawing or line list. ISS coordinates supply against the agreed requirement; it does not infer a pressure-system component solely from the pipe grade.

Select SS316 fittings, SS316L fittings, elbows, tees, reducers or forged couplings.

Send a line list through our existing RFQ form with quantity, required date, delivery destination and named Incoterm. Availability and lead time are confirmed against the actual requirement.
