No inspection. No shipment.
Quality is a gate, not an optional extra. The inspection method can change by product; the commitment does not.
Quality before margin.
If the agreed quality requirement is not met, commercial pressure should not become a reason to silently accept it.
Money follows.
Specifications, tolerances, packing, markings and critical attributes are agreed first.
Inspection scope is appropriate to the product and order risk.
Laboratory or third-party testing can be required where visual inspection is insufficient.
Significant non-conformance triggers corrective action and re-inspection.
What may be checked.
The exact checklist depends on product type, specification and applicable standards.
Specification
Dimensions, material, grade, model, tolerance and agreed attributes.
Quantity
Order quantity, packing quantity, unit counts or weight checks as appropriate.
Visual Quality
Visible defects, finish, workmanship and observable non-conformities.
Packaging & Marking
Packaging type, labels, marks, protection and buyer requirements.
Partner-facility quality capability coordinated through ISS.
For precision gears and machined components, India Supply Solutions can route production through an established Rajkot manufacturing partner whose public quality system states ISO 9001:2015 certification. ISS itself is not represented as the certificate holder; current certificate validity and scope are reconfirmed when contractually required.
Six-stage control flow
Drawing/order review → incoming material and MTC verification → first-piece/in-process dimensional checks → gear profile/lead/pitch/runout checks → surface finish and hardness verification → final inspection and batch release.
Measurement capability
Documented tools include vernier calipers, outside/inside micrometers and bore gauges, digital height gauge, gear-tooth vernier, roughness tester, Rockwell/Brinell hardness tester, dial/test indicators, granite surface plate and Go/No-Go thread gauges. CMM inspection is confirmed as an RFQ-specific route.
Typical tolerance envelope
Standard dimensional capability ±0.02 mm; bore fits H7/H8; shaft fits h6/k6; runout/concentricity commonly 0.02–0.05 mm TIR. Gear cutting is documented at DIN 7–9; DIN 5–6 requires the verified grinding route.
Release documentation
Material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, heat-treatment/hardness records and batch traceability can be supplied when included in the RFQ/PO. Case-hardened requirements documented by the partner include 58–62 HRC surface and 0.5–1.5 mm case depth where drawing-specified.
From drawing review to traceable dispatch.
The manufacturing partner describes a documented ISO 9001:2015 quality-management process with internal/external audits, corrective and preventive action, complaint handling and continuous improvement. Certificate validity/scope is reconfirmed when required by contract.
Incoming & in-process control
MTC review, raw-stock dimensional/hardness verification, first-piece approval and dimensional checks after turning, hobbing, shaping and secondary operations.
Gear geometry
Tooth thickness, profile, lead/helix, pitch and runout verification against buyer-stated DIN/ISO/AGMA or drawing requirements. DIN 5–6 is not assumed unless the grinding route and inspection basis are confirmed.
Calibrated measurement
The published inspection set includes micrometers/bore gauges to 0.001 mm resolution, digital height gauge, gear-tooth vernier, surface roughness tester, hardness tester, dial/test indicators, Grade-A granite plate and Go/No-Go thread gauges.
Traceable release
Final dimensional/visual verification, lot identification, inspection reports, MTCs and heat-treatment/hardness records can accompany the shipment when specified in the RFQ/PO.
Inspection reduces risk; it does not make risk disappear.
We will not make impossible promises. International trade has manufacturing, logistics, regulatory and commercial risk. Our standard is to identify material risk early, verify what can be verified and refuse to treat quality control as something that can be skipped to save time or money.
Inspection planning routes
Use the dedicated inspection routes when defining buyer-side quality controls before shipment.
